Classes:
Age 6 and under
1. Create your own “Moose Munch” using popcorn as your basic ingredient. Place in a resealable bag.
2. Decorated gingerbread person, cookie can be bought, all decorations must be edible.
3. Make a candy kabob
4. Rice cake face – decorate a rice cake into a face using anything edible.
5. Unbaked squares – make three (3) unbaked squares and display on a paper plate in a resealable zip
lock bag.
Age 12 and under
6. An edible gift in a mason jar
7. Two decorated cookies in the fair theme – decorations only to be judged
8. Create an edible castle from mini marshmallows, rice krispie mixture, candy, etc.
9. Your favourite cookie or square, three (3) on a plate, can be baked or no bake.
10. Chocolate covered pretzels – six (6) on a paper plate, sealed in a Ziploc bag.
Age 18 and under
11. Cupcakes decorated in the fair theme– can use a cake mix – four (4) on a plate
12. Lemon Loaf
A. Special: OAAS Plain Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition – No Nuts : This competition is open to youth up to 15 years as of December 31st of the current year. Eight (8) plain chocolate chip cookies, with no nuts, no larger than 3” (6.75 cm) and no smaller than 2” (5 cm). Displayed on a clean, sturdy plate (no paper plates) inside of a clear plastic bag with the exhibitor’s name and address using the entry tag provided. The winner from each fair will be eligible to enter at the District competition in October where separate prize money will be awarded. 1st – $4.00, 2nd – $3.00, 3rd – $2.00, 4th – $1.00
