  1. All work must be original
  2. All work must be 22 cm x 28 cm (8 ½” x 11”) unless otherwise stated
  3. Due to space limitations, we must limit entries to 10 per classroom.

Prize Money:

Classes 1 to 23 – 1st - $5.00, 2nd - $3.00, 3rd - $2.00, 4th - $1.00

Specials A to E  – 1st - $8.00, 2nd - $6.00, 3rd - $4.00, 4th - $2.00

 

Ages 5 & under

  1. A collage of red things
  2. On a paper plate and using different materials create your own face
  3. Sponge painting  (12” x 18”)

Ages 7 and under

        4.  A 3-D Hat to celebrate Canada’s birthday (any size)

        5.  A toilet paper roll animal

        6.  Use textured material to create a landscape

        7.  A leaf rubbing picture

 

Ages 9 and under

       8.  Draw and colour a Canadian animal in its natural habitat

       9. Create an animal using the techniques of Eric Carle.

      10.  Create a maple tree through the seasons

      11.  A “fireworks” picture

 

Ages 11 and under

      12.  Using line design fill in each province and territory in a map of Canada

      13.   A 3-D totem pole

      14.   Create a design using coin rubbings

      15.  Add a black silhouette to a sunrise or sunset background

 

Ages 13 and under

      16.  Decorate a disposable coffee cup

       17.  Design a sport’s sweater for your favourite team

       18.  An anti bullying poster  (any size)

        19.  A pop-up birthday card for Canada’s birthday

Ages 9 and under

      20.   A paper bag person. Describe it on the back

      21.     Draw and label a picture of your lunch

 

Ages 13 and under

      22.   Draw and label your classroom (minimum 10 labels)

      23.  Create a mystery creature and describe five (5) things about it.
